Learning how to show Whanaungatanga
Whanaungatanga is one of our school values.
Today we played a game to help us build positive relationships.
We wrote what it means to be a friend on a balloon.
Then we had to buddy up and carry our balloon without touching it to the tree and back without dropping it.
We had to listen to each other, work together and show kindness.
This is what happened...

Maths Problem Solving
We read The New Lambs.
We then had to solve this maths problem...
There are 6 lambs. Each lamb needs 2 bottles of milk each day, one in the morning and one at night.
How many bottles does the farmer need to make each day?
This is how we solved it...
