Looking At Seeds. What do you notice?

Today Miss Gormly gave us lots of different kinds of seeds. We had to talk about where we think they came from and how they were the same and different.

Feelings Paintings

Today we created abstract art to show how we are feeling. The colours we choose represented how we were feeling. It felt relaxing pressing the paint down. 

Sorting shells and rocks

Miss Gormly brought some rocks and shells to school. We had fun sorting them into groups.

Learning how to show Whanaungatanga

 Whanaungatanga is one of our school values.

Today we played a game to help us build positive relationships.

We wrote what it means to be a friend on a balloon. 

Then we had to buddy up and carry our balloon without touching it to the tree and back without dropping it.

We had to listen to each other, work together and show kindness.

The Water Cycle

 

 In the water cycle the sun heats the water to do evaporation. It goes up to the cloud to be a condensation and if the cloud gets too much water it's going to rain. That's called precipitation.
