Our Stories About The Nest

Here are the stories we wrote about the nest Miss Gormly brought into school.

The nest looks like a pīwakawaka nest and a kereru's. I think its a piwakawakas because it's little.

The Nest Story
The nest had a spider in it. The nest had sticks in it. The nest was brown. I think the nest belongs to a piwakawaka.

Literacy Turns Into Maths

This week we have been reading Monster's Vest.

How did Monster feel when he received a new vest?

We made our own new vests and felt very proud wearing them around our school. We have to do lots of problem solving, keep trying and work collaboratively together. We also learnt about measurement.

Challenge 1

Make some clothes to fit Teddy.

Challenge 2

Working in pairs make a vest to fit your buddy.

Watch our video to see the process.
